WCAS
Wilsonville Choral Arts Society (WCAS) is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019 with a mission to bring community choir experiences to Wilsonville and surrounding areas. Our mission is to build community through song and support the choral heritage of Wilsonville and its people.
Meet Our Team
John Hillan-Payne
John is the founding director of WCAS. He conducts the children’s choir and leads the community choir. John has 20+ years experience leading singing ensembles. During the daytime you can find him teaching music to children at Lowrie Primary School. He and husband Nate live in Wilsonville with son Ethan and dogs Cole and Pabu.
Caroline Villeneuve
Caroline is the piano accompanist for WCAS. She had classical piano training for 10 years. She accompanied high school and church choirs for many years. Although she is an engineer by training, she loves music and being part of WCAS. She and her husband have 3 children and have lived in Wilsonville for over 20 years.
